Question:
"What did Paul mean when he said he had kept the faith?"
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7).

I am coming to the conclusion that God spoke powerfully to Paul during his life time. I don't think all of those moments are recorded in the Bible. It's the only logical explanation for Paul's illogical behaviour. (In Acts for example at one point he's arguing against physical circumcision for Gentiles and then he circumcises Timothy.) So by keeping the faith, I think he means that he was faithful to do what G-d told him to do.
